This piece was actually the last piece that was recorded for this album. It has a somber atmosphere and when I had recorded the bass parts I heard a choir in my mind. I set up the microphone and recorded multiple tracks of my singing. Even though the music is clearly sad here, it is also forgiving. We need to carry on, whatever the circumstances are. Maybe this is my response to the feelings that the pandemic has evoked.
